Let me tell you a story (it’s what I do best)… Ten years ago, I sat in one cubicle job after another, dreaming of launching my own writing business. I romanticized life as a “full-time writer” so much that it left me paralyzed to actually go for it. Every day, I listened to podcasts and read blogs from writers who became entrepreneurs. I even frantically pedaled a stationary bike under my cubicle desk while fantasizing about my exit to finally become my own boss.

Finally, I built up the courage to turn in my two-weeks notice, and the rest is history. Since launching my business as a full-time freelance writer in 2019, I have surpassed my 9-to-5 salary, even while taking a six-month maternity leave to start my family.
